Those who visit Lee Ka Ja for the first time would definitely remember how welcoming the salon felt. Other than its warm lighting, vintage sofas for its guests and dedicated beverage bar that reminds us more of a cafe, the service is impeccable!

Within seconds of your arrival, there will be someone attending to you, offering you wine, smoothies or coffee while the salon manager comes over for a quick consultation.

They also use Bodum cups for some of their beverages, which helps keep the drink at the optimum temperature for a longer period of time. We love the detail!

Although the salon manager is Korean, her English is very fluent, making the experience a seamless one.

As much as we love the service here, the hairstylists here are to us the biggest attraction! Here, you can choose between Korean hairstylists or local hairstylists. All of them are very good in their work so it really depends on the service you're looking for! Walk in is however not advisable for both the Korean senior stylist Ted and local senior stylist Preston. Both tend to have appointment books full throughout the day with Ted's appointment book full 1-2 weeks before!

If you meet them in person, you'll understand why! Ted, for example, look totally like a Korean heartthrob celebrity. We definitely felt our hearts fluttering when he turns to us with a smile during the consultation! We hear that he is great in haircuts, perms and volume rebonding so customers keep coming back for both the hair and the eye candy :)

Preston, on the other hand, gives off a cool Korean-style boyband type of vibe. He is not the overly chatty type but impresses with both his honesty and skill for vibrant hair colours!

As popular as the above two male hairstylists are, we hear that local stylist James has also gotten a lot of GREAT reviews from customers (some of whom are Agent G's friends!). His amazing haircutting skill and attentive service has impressed most customers who go to him - not a surprise since he was previously an educator and is great with sculpted haircuts and exceptional hair colour designs that stand out aesthetically!

If you find it hard to book your appointments ahead of time, we would highly recommend you to give Korean Director Stylist Hye Jin, Korean Stylist Jenny, Korean Stylist Hyun Jin or Brazilian Stylist Alex.

Both Hye Jin and Hyun Jin have just arrived in Singapore from Korea so they are still largely undiscovered gems in our opinion! Hye Jin is an expert in perms and volume rebonding given her many years of experience. The cute and attentive Hyun Jin is fantastic with haircuts, perms and volume rebonding as well - she has after all graduated top of her class for hairdressing!

Surprisingly, prices here are also not very expensive with haircuts starting from $60 for ladies, hair colours at $120 and perms at $240. With skilled hairstylists, fabulous service, beautiful decor and reasonable prices, what more can we ask for?
